AeroPress Portugal started in 2018 with the first National Championship taking place at 7G in Vila Nova de Gaia.
I got inspired to launch and host the event here because of the attitude and dedication to specialty coffee that this place presents. Organising the event challenged to overcome time planning, coffee sourcing, partnership and promotional hurdles. However, 20+ competitors have participated with over 100 spectators that watched the event over the whole day.
